Education

Educational and informative activities to further explore the topics in the Adventure of Money.

The 'Adventure of Money' exhibition at the Palazzo Esposizioni in Rome is open to primary and secondary schools for the course of its duration. On a tour especially dedicated to them, students can take their first steps in the world of finance and payment instruments.

The immersive experience provided by the animations and projection mapping of the display and the accompanying voice commentary are designed to intrigue and entertain both boys and girls, for an introduction to finance and economics conveyed in a simple yet effective language. Younger kids, too, will enjoy the immersive effects of 'The Adventure of Money' as an audio guide takes them on a tour especially conceived for their age group.

On Tuesdays and Fridays, the exhibition hosts a programme of educational activities and workshops for schools. Students will be able to explore key economic concepts - such as inflation, planning and budgeting, interest and banknotes - through workshops, games, role plays and guided discussions targeting different age groups. These activities have been designed in cooperation with the Italian research council (CNR), the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, the Opera Nazionale Montessori and the Bank of Italy's Directorate General for Currency Circulation and Retail Payments.

For more information on the activities, download our catalogue (only in Italian).

The Tuesday workshops are designed for primary schools (grades 4 and 5) and lower secondary schools. They are part of the Mappa della Città Educante promoted by Roma Capitale.
