From Wednesday 6 to Sunday 10 December.
From Wednesday 6 to Sunday 10 December, the Bank of Italy's Money Museum (MUDEM) will be at Più Libri Più Liberi, the national fair for small and medium-sized publishers, which hosts hundreds of publishers and events and will take place at the Roma Convention Center 'La Nuvola'. At the Bank of Italy stand, the Museum staff will talk about the 'Adventure of Money' exhibition, currently showing at Palazzo Esposizioni in Rome and open until 28 April 2024, engaging visitors in a fun quiz on the curiosities of the history of money.
On Wednesday 6 December, there will be the presentation of The MUDEM Issue - BottleCap, in the Nettuno Room at 11.30 a.m. BottleCap was created in collaboration with Comics & Science, the comic book series published by Cnr Edizioni. The story - written by Giovanni Eccher and illustrated by Giuseppe Palumbo - is set in a post-apocalyptic scenario and tries to answer some of the most difficult economic and financial questions: What is money? Under what conditions is an object recognized as money? What does its value depend on?
Roberto Natalini, Director of the Institute for applied mathematics of the CNR and one of the managers of Comics & Science, will be taking part in the presentation.
