An immersive itinerary that uses three senses
HANDIMATICA , the Fondazione ASPHI Onlus exhibition and conference dedicated to digital technologies for a society that is inclusive and accessible to everyone, is back in Bologna from 28 to 30 November 2024.
This event is aimed at people with disabilities and their family members, at the world of schools and research, at organizations and firms active in producing aids, and at organizations, associations and people. This year's theme is 'Inclusive digital habitats – Technologies, accessibility and skills as resources for participation'.
The 2024 edition has over 40 events, and includes workshops for testing tools and innovative methodologies and conferences for talking to experts from the sector about the current and future state of innovation for inclusion.
The topics include artificial intelligence, digital technologies and the world of work, living in a digital world, inclusive digital schooling and accessible gaming with set-ups suitable for playing video games.
MUDEM will take part in the first two days of the event with a double appointment open to the public: 'A currency for everyone' is on 28 November and 'Money at your fingertips' is on the following day.
Specifically, on 29 November, at 11 a.m. and at 4 p.m., MUDEM staff will present the design work for the Money Museum's tactile itinerary that will allow blind and visually impaired people to take part and be involved in the future. During the meeting, people who are interested can touch the prototypes of the aids created so far, discover their features and revisit some stages of the history of money and finance through a multisensory experience.
