Heritage and innovation: the Money Museum brings history into the future
From 5 to 8 June 2025, MUDEM will take part in the Archivissima 2025? Festival and the Night of the Archives with 'Le Mille Lire', its first virtual exhibition. The project was developed in collaboration with the Historical Archive and aims to enhance the Bank's artistic, numismatic and archival heritage through the digitalization of/by digitalizing objects, documents, photographs and spaces at the Bank, making them accessible via computers and mobile devices.
With/Through this initiative, the Money Museum is introducing a new exhibition format and expanding its range of content and experiences dedicated to the world of money and finance, fully embracing the theme of Archivissima 2025: 'On the side of the future'.
The event will conclude on June 8th and will be followed by International Archives Day.
