Inauguration in Bari of the 'Form and Trust. Coins from the Territory, Coins from around the World' exhibition

Banca d’Italia, in collaboration with the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Bari, the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for Barletta, Andria and Trani (BAT) and Foggia, and the Canosa Archaeological Foundation, is inaugurating a new exhibition today at its Bari branch. It explores the relationship between money and trust through ancient coins and unusual objects that have served as currency because of their symbolic value and social recognition. These objects include several specimens from the Money Museum’s Voltolina Collection.

The exhibition will be open to visitors from 30 September 2025 to 31 January 2026, Monday to Friday, from 8:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and is an opportunity to share the numismatic heritage of Puglia with the public and to foster awareness of its artistic and historical value, in a dialogue between past and present.
