One museum with many stories
MUDEM isn't just the future Money Museum, it's also a place that is constantly changing, where you can find digital content and experiences on the history of money and finance that everyone can enjoy/that are accessible to everyone.
Users will be able to visit the new section of the www.mudem.it website, which features various topics, and explore multimedia articles and content, filter them by category and, for example, find out how, where and when money and finance crossed paths with history, art, mathematics and linguistics.
The website is accessible from today and over time, it will also have videos, photo galleries and podcasts on the topics covered by the Museum.
What was the first recorded banknote? Where do the words 'coin' and 'money' come from? What's the connection between the famous Italian film character, a bumbling accountant called Fantozzi and the 15th century work by Luca Pacioli? Can you use a comic to tell the story of money and its functions?
These are just some of the questions that MUDEM will try and answer, helping adults and kids to explore concepts and topics that are part of everyday life.
