MUDEM and Banca d'Italia for accessibility

On 21 and 22 May, MUDEM and Banca d'Italia will be at 'Accessibility Days'. The event is devoted to accessibility and disability issues, and aimed at the people and organizations who design and develop digital content and use it in communication, including in the field of education. The initiative coincides with Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD), the international campaign promoting awareness of digital accessibility.

'Accessibility Days' is an opportunity to showcase the tools, experiences and projects developed to make museum content accessible to all, while fostering dialogue, the exchange of best practices, and meaningful engagement with both professionals and people with disabilities.

On the first day, MUDEM will present augmented reality solutions designed to ensure that the Museum's visitor itineraries are accessible to deaf visitors. On 22 May, attention will shift to the Money Museum's tactile pathway, featuring prototypes of assistive devices for blind and partially sighted visitors.

Please visit the webpage of the event to find out more.

We look forward to welcoming you at Banca d'Italia's stand at Sapienza University of Rome.
