MUDEMverse - Tycoon and Time Travel!, the video game inspired by the Money Museum, has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Best Platform-Based Project category at the Games for Change Festival 2026, one of the world's foremost events celebrating games with a positive social impact.
This year's edition, Reimagining Play, explores the role of video games as continually evolving tools that combine creativity and innovation with meaningful social impact. Within this context, MUDEMverse's nomination is important recognition for a project that brings together entertainment, public engagement and financial education.
The winners will be announced on 21-22 July at The Glasshouse in New York during the Festival's official awards ceremony, which will bring together developers, educators and innovators from around the world who are engaged in exploring and redefining the role of games in contemporary society.
