CashLab - Money as you've never seen it Interactive visits for Financial Education Month 2024
November 2024 (from 1st to 30th) is Financial Education Month, the annual event promoted by the Planning and Coordination Committee for financial education activities, now in its seventh edition, with a free programme of features on the fundamental notions about insurance, social security and the management and planning of personal and family financial resources.
MUDEM and the Museum of the Mint of Rome join forces for #NovemberEdufin2024 on 6, 14 and 27 November to bring ‘CashLab – Money as you've never seen it’. Three purpose-designed appointments will take secondary school students behind the scenes of coin and banknote production and reveal some of their history, from 15th century papal medals to 2024 collector’s items with legal tender.
The visit to the Museum of the Mint is complemented by two workshop activities with opportunities for discussion, games, and analyses of monetary and financial matters coordinated by MUDEM and Museum of the Mint staff.
