Inspired by Maria Montessori's fraction circles, the workshop enables children to discover and think about spending strategies and resource allocation.
The activity is in three consecutive stages, enabling participants to develop increasingly effective resource management strategies. In each stage, students learn to distinguish between essential expenses, non-essential expenses and savings, exploring the 50-30-20 rule in a simple and practical way.
In between activities there are opportunities for group discussion to share ideas, observations and solutions, stimulating critical thinking and personal reflection.
This workshop engages logical and mathematical skills and transversal skills for self-analysis, awareness of personal choices, and communication.
The activities are intended for the first cycle of primary school, last an hour and are free. For more information and to sign up for the activity, please write to MUDEM.Scuole@bancaditalia.it.
