MUDEM - the Money Museum, in collaboration with Banca d'Italia's Genoa branch, will take part for the first time in the Science Festival, one of the world's leading events for scientific culture.
This Festival invites scientists, researchers, science communicators, artists and authors from all over the world every year, between October and November; our Museum is involved in this year's edition, which explores the topic of 'Perspectives'.
This year, Banca d'Italia's Genoa branch - which has a long history of collaboration with the Festival - is hosting a double event dedicated to MUDEMverse - Tycoon and time travel!, to look at the world of money and finance from different perspectives, through play, experimentation and a dialogue with schools.
There will be a special event on 29 October, at 3.30 p.m., which you can attend in person or online. It is called 'MUDEMverse: Playing with finance. New languages for financial education', and is an initiative especially for teachers and educators interested in learning more about the tools provided by the digital world to engage the younger generations in learning about complex issues, such as money and finance.
The event aims to illustrate MUDEMverse, the Money Museum's first educational video game and its potential as an innovative teaching resource. Together with the Museum's experts for research and the development of digital educational experiences, participants will discover the opportunities provided by gamification as well as teaching kits to integrate the game into financial education for schools.
