The 8th edition of the Financial Education Month (Edufin) has officially begun and will run from 1 to 30 November. This initiative is promoted by the Italian committee for financial education activities and aims to enhance essential knowledge on financial, insurance and pension-related matters.
The Money Museum (MUDEM) will once again contribute to this nationwide programme with a series of free initiatives and events, both in person and online, involving talks, games sessions, and debates on monetary and financial topics:
- 'A game about the history of money' - In this interactive experience, lower- and upper-secondary school students get to explore 'MUDEMverse - Tycoons and Time Travel!', the Museum's first video game, available on ROBLOX from 17 November 2025.
- 'Teaching in the age of ROBLOX' - In a session especially dedicated to teachers and educators, we present MUDEMverse and invite participants to discuss gamification, emerging trends in the museum sector and the educational use of video games.
- 'The everlasting exchange' - A three-part series organized in collaboration with MAXXI - National Museum of 21st Century Arts examining the multifaceted relationship between money and key dimensions of human experience, from philosophy, art and beauty to innovation and technology.
- 'Money and its forms' - An educational journey with students from schools in the Rome area, exploring the evolution of money and its diverse functions.
