MUDEM for schools
Alongside age-specific museum tours, MUDEM provides workshops, teaching resources and events for all school levels.
These materials and activities have been designed for classes to engage interactively with themes and ideas relating to economics, so that, while playing and experimenting, students can approach key concepts such as: the history, forms and functions of money; payment instruments; inflation and its effects; financial planning and budgeting; and cognitive biases in our spending and financial decisions.
MUDEM’s educational modules are designed to stimulate students’ curiosity and critical thinking, and familiarize them with economics in a practical and accessible way.
Ahead of the Museum’s opening, the workshops are running as part of the Financial Education Month (in November) and Global Money Week (in March). Our workshops are run by MUDEM staff and can take place face to face or online. Subject to availability, schools can sign up for free.
